现居上海的摄影师满异将给我们连续带来两个故事。今天讲的题目是:“嘉善路:致一去不复返的生活”。
满异(豆瓣、博客),1982年生于天津,2001年开始长居上海至今。同济大学毕业,曾任色影无忌网站影像频道编辑。现供职于《周末画报》iWeekly。
Shanghai based photographer Manyi will bring us two stories continuously. Today he will talk about his Jiashan Road series.
Manyi was born 1982 in Tianjin. He lives in Shanghai since 2001. He graduated from Tongji University and worked for xitek, the most populor photography website in China. He now works as iphone apps editor at Modern Weekly.

我们的朋友,新加坡摄影师Nguan(查看他的访谈)给我寄来了自己出版的摄影集《SHIBUYA》。这本摄影书集结了他在2008年至2010年间拍摄于东京涉谷地铁站附近的“肖像”作品。
Our friend, Singapore photographer Nguan (see his interview) published a photo book SHIBUYA by himself. SHIBUYA is a collection of candid “portraits” take in the vicinity of Tokyo’s Shibuya station, one of Japan’s busiest transportation hubs where traffic surpasses two million citizens on a typical weekday. The photographs in this book were made between 2008 and 2010, a deeply unnerving time when news of stabbing sprees, banking collapses and flu pandemics rattled the local populace. In an uncertain age even the daily commute can seem fraught with trails. This book depicts Shibuya’s itinerant souls going about their journey, aided only by the possibly magical kawaii charms dangling from their cell phones.

自从微博兴起以后,我一直在思考假杂志身份的问题。一开始,我悲观地觉得博客这种媒介似乎走到了尽头,因为微博某种程度上完全可以承载现在许多博客承载的内容。但后来细想,事实上,微博却为博客开辟出了一条崭新的道路,它对博客的冲击是一次很好的间接整合。一些图多字少的博客逐渐变得可有可无,博客需要也必须融入更多的观点、思考和故事,博客居然可以成为(相对于微博而言)一个“慢”节奏的媒体,是我在做假杂志之初没有想到的。因此,假杂志在“訪談”栏目之后,再次正式推出一个全新的栏目“故事”。这个栏目,顾名思义就是让摄影师、艺术家本人讲讲一个系列、一张照片背后的故事,甚至是摄影师、艺术家自己的经历,而“故事”这个词的其它衍生意义同样很有意思。我想,这比一些泛滥的信息以及毫不着调、故作姿态的评论对大家更有用一些。如果你有好的作品,并有兴趣为大家讲故事,欢迎你将作品和故事发至我们的邮箱: jiazazhi@gmail.com

Jia Za Zhi now carrys out a new project “STORY”, inviting photographers and artists to talk about the background stories of their series or just one picture, even merely a story about themselves. I think it will be more meaningful and usefull than overflowed information and inaccurate artificial comments. Hope you will like it. Taiwan documentary photographer Shen Chao-Liang‘s solo exhibition “Reflections of Nan Fang AO” will be opened from Dec. 18, 2010 to Feb. 18, 2011 at Beijing EPSON photo gallery. He will have a lecture there at 3 p.m., Dec. 18 (Sat.). However cold the weather is, do not miss it. The exhibition will move to Shanghai on Mar. 25. Art and photography related web magazine DREAMER’s debut paper magazine was launched in Dec. 2010 in Hangzhou, China. The first issue is themed as CHAOS, 32 pages, limited edition of 1000 copies, handmade numbered. Quiet different from the traditional book or magazine, it uses the pictorial style in all pages, like a map of CHAOS leading readers to be involved in their dreams. Morgenstern is a vibrant compilation of Alexander Binder’s latest color photographs published by Café Royal Books. The images in the book serve as a modern interpretation of the medieval ‘Memento Mori’ philosophy [remember you must die]. Like the works of early Netherlandish painters they seem to be lively and playful at a first glance. But a second look reveals their dark and disturbing energy.

25-year-old Chinese photographer, Liu Di has been awarded the 2010 Lacoste Elysée Prize from twelve nominees for his Animal Regulation series. Liu Di is known for his work which deals with conflicting relationships between nature and human society, generated by the rate of Chinese urban development. In his imagination, these animals become an overwhelming part of daily life in the city.
