David Jo Bradley
David Jo Bradley 是一位来自澳大利亚的摄影师，他1978年生于英格兰，但是从小在澳大利亚西部的佩斯长大，他现居伦敦。David 的摄影关注人的生存状况，在记录现实的同时也对现代生活表面下存在的怪现状做出评论，摄影的主题主要围绕消费主义和美国的后现代文化。2009年10月，他开始了一个长达6个月的个人拍摄计划，途经英国、西班牙、摩洛哥、马里、法国，重点展现不同文化下宗教信仰对日常生活的影响。本文作品选自这个系列中拍摄于非洲马里的照片。
David Jo Bradley is an Australian documentary photographer. He was born in Southwest England in 1978, but spent most of his childhood in Perth, Western Australia. He currently lives and works in London, UK. David photographs the human condition. His photography holds a familiarity entrenched in reality, while at the same time commenting on the strangeness lying below the surface of modern-day life. The key themes running through David’s work are Consumerism and American Post Modern Culture, and how these factors influence the world. In October 2009 David Jo Bradley embarked upon a six month, self funded documentary project covering the United Kingdom, Spain, Morocco, Mali and France. The focus was to follow shifting cultures as the influence of religion alters day-to-day life. The selected works are from this project he did in Mali, Africa.
