花敏 Hua Weicheng

摄影师花敏，原名华伟成，1974年出生于湖南邵阳。毕业于中国传媒大学，2007年来到重庆，任教于重庆大学，并慢慢地喜欢上了这座城市。他原来是学习影视摄影的，是重庆这座城市让他逐渐专注于图片摄影，尝试表达一些自己的生活感受。本文作品选自他的“重庆森林”系列，请到他的 fotoyard 主页看更多作品。

Photographer Hua Weicheng was born in 1974 in Shaoyang, Hunan Province, China. He graduated from Communication University of China and moved to Chongqing in 2007 as a professor in Chongqing University. Though studying cinematography in the college, he started to do photography as soon as he fell in love with the city, trying to express his thinking on personal life. minä perhonen catalog 紋黄蝶 10-11 a/w collection

minä perhonen 是日本服装设计师皆川明的自主品牌，对芬兰的热爱是设计师将品牌用芬兰语命名的缘由，minä perhonen 在芬兰语中意为“我蝴蝶”，因此皆川明又特意将品牌的产品目录命名为《紋黄蝶》，自07-08秋冬系列以来都会随着每季的新款衣服同时出版发行，在其官方网站有售。2010-2011秋冬系列的产品目录除了册子之外还附有一张DVD，合计2100日元。

minä perhonen is Japanese fashion designer Akira Minagawa’s brand. Because of his special love to Finland, he named the brand as minä perhonen which meant My Butterfly. He also named the catalog of the brand as  紋黄蝶 (means yellow butterfly in English), released every season from 07-08 a/w collection. You can buy the catalog on its website. The catalog for 2010-2011 a/w collection includes a booklet and a DVD, amounting to 2100 JPY.

专访摄影师陈引 / Interview with photographer Chen Yin

陈引，1983年11月生于广州，现在依然呆在广州，是一名自由摄影师，他的作品以具有人文关怀的纪实摄影为主，却也带着不明显的诗意。在大学时不善与人交流，自闭，却反而成了他拿起摄影机的缘由。这让我想起了 Elliott Erwitt 那句经典的话，“大部分摄影家都是害羞的，摄影是一种摆脱困境的方法”。就像陈引自己所说，也许在初期有过模仿，有过刻意，但一切都不过是经历，只要快门背后有一颗对这个世界真诚的、善意的，充满好奇的心，你就能拍到你想要的照片。假杂志这次重点请他谈了谈最新的“拆迁前的广州恩宁路”系列，以及最近的一些想法。更多的作品可以去他的 fotoyard 主页。

Chen Yin was born in Guangzhou in Nov.1983. He now works as a freelance photographer in Guangzhou. He pays his attention on documentary photography. JIAZAZHI invited him to talk about his new works on a pulled down street called Enning Road in Guangzhou, as well as his recent condition. We are sorry that the interview is only in Chinese version. Young Kyu Yoo

Young Kyu Yoo 生于1979年，在韩国国内学习摄影，2005年移居纽约以拓宽他在当代摄影上的眼界。他的摄影带有轻微的情色意味，人物精致美丽，彼此亲密无间。他创作紧绕环境和人类身体的相似性展开，颂扬世界万物之间美丽的互联性。在“形状的结合”系列中 Young Kyu Yoo 试图创造出镜像间的对比效果，线和形的互动关系，甚至是不在时间四维空间控制下的状态。

Young Kyu Yoo was born in Korea 1979. He studied the photography at university in Korea. He lives and works in Brooklyn NY since 2005. He moved from Korea to New York to broaden his horizons about contemporary photography. Now he is creating images that are softly erotic, humanly delicate, and deeply intimate. His work follows the similarities between our environment and the human body closely, celebrating the beautiful interconnectedness of all things. For the project “Combine of Shapes”, Young Kyu Yoo wants to evoke effects of mirrors, interactions of lines and shapes, and sometimes the stages unruled by the fourth dimension of time.

专访插画师于晓 / Interview with Illustrator Yu Xiao

于晓（胡子大王），1984年生于山东青岛，毕业于四川美院，在上海呆了一年后前往北京，滞留北京至今。他希望他的画在写实与不写实之间，在平常的风景里找到一点点不平常的东西。自称受性格的影响，他的绘画的方向性总是很不明确，有点矛盾，有点模棱两可。

Yu Xiao was born in Qingdao, Shandong Province. After graduating from Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts and spending one year in Shanghai,  he went to Beijing. Now he lives and works in Beijing as a freelance artist.

Valerie Phillips

Valerie Phillips is a photographer born in Manhattan. Her favourite places are Kansas and Hong Kong. Though, most of the time she lives in London. Valerie loves making books. Patrick Tsai 的新作展 / Patrick Tsai’s new exhibition

摄影师 Patrick Tsai 的最新展览“Hot Water”上周六（9月4日）在东京的Cultivate画廊开展，为期一个月。同名摄影书也由独立出版社 Bathysphere Books 出版发行。这个系列拍摄的是一段从日本到赤道的旅程。

Taiwanese-American photographer Patrick Tsai’s new exhibition “Hot Water” opened last saturday, September 4th in Tokyo for a whole month at Cultivate gallery. “Hot Water” is the title of his book published by Bathysphere Books. This new series takes you on a voyage from the tip of Japan to the equator.

王远铮 Wang Yuanzheng

王远铮，1984年生于陕西宝鸡，毕业于西安美院油画系，现居北京。“王远铮在画面上，可以直接地画一堆肉、一只香蕉、一条蛇等等，是他以往心绪的象征性表现，就像他日常情绪与痛楚的片段宣泄。虽然这些图像有着隐喻的元素，但已没有了传统人文的指涉，与以往宏大的叙事针对性也发生了偏离，而是与自我存在与体验直接相连的明喻。”（冯博一语）。

Born in 1984 in Shaanxi Province, China, Wang Yuanzheng graduated from Oil Painting Department at Xi’an Academy of Fine Art. He now lives and works in Beijing. You can see more works on Magge Gallery.
