Helena Kvarnström was born in 1980 in Sweden. She now lives in Toronto.  In between she has lived in the United States and the United Kingdom. She writes and takes photographs. She is interested in trees, water, bodies, ghosts, loneliness, stillness, secrets and hidden threats.
